Indications
Espinicida Voam is used for the treatment of pimples and blackheads. Its formula reduces the number of pimples and blackheads and improves the size of the pores.
Dosage and administration
The ointment is intended for external use only. When using the product, it is recommended to avoid getting ointment on the mucous membranes of the eye, mouth and genitals. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and the dynamics of treatment. The ointment should be applied in a thin layer on the damaged surface of the body from two to three times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.
If there is no positive dynamics in the treatment, it is recommended to consult a doctor who will adjust the treatment regimen and dose of the drug.
Contraindications
Espinicida Voam is not used in the treatment of acute purulent skin lesions. Also, it is not prescribed if the patient has hypersensitivity or intolerance to zinc oxide or other ingredients in the product.
Side effects
Long-term use of this ointment can cause skin irritation. Also, the drug is not recommended for use in patients who suffer from frequent allergic reactions, as this can cause skin itching, rashes and urticaria.
Overdose
An acute overdose of Espinicida Voam is unlikely since the drug does not penetrate into the general bloodstream. If the drug accidentally enters the mucous membranes, it is recommended to wash off the ointment with cold water, which will reduce the intensity of adsorption.
If you accidentally swallowed a small amount of this ointment, you should do gastric lavage and take activated charcoal and drink plenty of water. For the fastest possible removal of the drug from the patient’s body, salt laxatives can be used.
Interaction
No drug interaction was noted. There are no data on the interaction of Espinicida Voam with other topical agents; therefore, their simultaneous use is not recommended.
